Update: Less than a week later, the fan was no longer controlled by Alexa or the app. We will return it. The product is of very low quality. Despite being marketed as "very small," I had a more difficult time fitting it into the fan shroud than the previous unit it replaced. It was much shorter in length, but the actual size limit is height (length almost doesn't matter). Also, the remote control doesn't work at all. You have to click the buttons 2-4 times before it actually registers and does anything. The 1 hour timer feature doesn't seem to work at all no matter how many times the button is pressed. the ability to specify a direction (at least they need to turn on the DIP switch on the receiver unit to allow that choice). As mentioned in other reviews, the app used to control it is extremely poor quality and very difficult to work with to connect. with Alexa devices.
