Dollar charging cables last longer

In my house, micro USB cables run out faster than gallons of milk. Sometimes they go away, but usually they either stop working relatively quickly after purchase, or they detach and won't load without directional pressure and something (duct tape) to keep them from moving around the port, even in microscopic amounts. After searching for cables for almost a whole week to find the best brand that can charge fast, using on Android phones and tablets will last more than 1 or 2 weeks and no "slow charging" or cause "low-power" charging associated with pop make available on any device and I don't have to tape the port for weeks I went with these. I chose them not only because of Revain's high ratings and reviews, but also because of the numerous reviews and articles I've found online, in reputable magazines, and tech sources. After purchasing these items, I was under the impression that every published article/review I read that was written by "professional tech insiders" was cheap just because they got something from the company. Either that or I somehow managed to get my hands on the only 4 defective micro USB cables they ever made. 3 days after receipt, the micro USB connector on the first cable was slightly disconnected, so it could only be charged with a directional push. On the 4th day the same thing happened with the 2nd string. On the 6th day, the same fate befell the 3rd and 4th cords. None of the 4 cables charge faster than any cable I've bought from a store. In fact, the 2 cords I literally bought from Dollar Tree as spare cords for short term emergency backups in case I needed to charge something when the shops closed 4 months ago, not only worked better than these monovalent cords, they were used on a daily basis. And for a few weeks I've been charging the tablet! I am disappointed and upset with this product and will never buy it again. I could buy 30 micro USB cables at the dollar store for the amount of money I wasted on those 4 cables.

Cons
  • Easily torn
