Haven't used any cables or software but the customer service is top notch! The installation instructions were difficult to follow, so I emailed them and received a response within minutes. You connected via Teamviewer and installed the software in just a few minutes and it works flawlessly! I'll update this review once I hook it up to my 2016 Tundra tonight or tomorrow. I got it for key fob programming from my 2010 Tacoma and plan to use it to program a new key soon. Installed Windows 7 update 64bit7/2. I was able to use Techstream to add my second keychain with no problem. It was easy to follow YouTube videos. I was also able to program my key fob to unlock all doors with a single click instead of a double click. Very happy with this purchase and again the customer service was excellent!
