Review on Powerful 600 Lumen Headlight and 50 Lumen Tail Light Combo Set by Cygolite - USB Rechargeable Bike Lights for Enhanced Visibility by Lyle Stepp

After using this combo kit for a year I can say I will happily buy another Cygolite lighting set if I ever need a new one. Summer and winter, rain and sun, early morning or late afternoon, these lights still work just like the first day I received them. I haven't had any major issues with the Cygoligyt Dash Pro 600 and Hotrod 50 since I bought them. Still great battery life for what they're designed for (can last at least 4 hours on some bike rides I do depending on settings), nothing gets lost or broken, it's very compact and easy to put on and take off . bright enough for day and night in your typical urban/suburban environment (which these bulbs are good for) but don't expect them to be suitable for rural outdoor use (as a compact backup light this can be a decent light). source for yourself). back home or camp if your main light goes out.) The only minor complaint I have is the USB charging connector/cap on the front light (Dash Pro 600). When it was new I had the same issues as others who mentioned not being able to easily plug the connector back into the USB charging port to keep water out. It got easier over time with constant use, but it's annoying for new owners. (As you can see in my close-ups, the cap sits flush in the port due to wear.) Not a big deal, but something to consider when looking for waterproof bike lights. .(All but one of the photos were taken just before writing this review so you can all see what these lights look like after a year of use. I still had the original packaging so I posted them roughly where they were, received when I put them on., and at least show the run time in each mode for each light as it says on the box (as it's not shown in full here on the product page).
