This is my third set. The first time I bought them in a performance store. I have this set on all my bikes and one charge lasts quite a while. Not only that, the strobe function on the front light is very bright and really draws attention - maybe too much. It also helps get drivers to slow down when passing me. Highly recommended.

I prefer the Cygolite headlamps to others. In the last 14 years I have bought 3. After 2 years, this had to be charged more. I contacted the company and sent it in for repair. They sent me a shipping label and charged me $7 for a new motherboard and $5 to ship it back. $12 for this light is worth it! I appreciate a company that stands behind their products. Fantastic. Very bright, multiple modes. Great lights. The only downside I have is that I'm not the biggest fan of rechargeable USB batteries. I also understand that for some form factors, and these are beautiful, this is the only way out. The downside is that if I go out and find my flashlights aren't charged, I have no way of changing the batteries and leaving no matter what, and then I have to wait to charge them.

Love this light set except the tail light doesn't hold a charge like the front light. Great combo pack. Both lights offer plenty of brightness and pattern options, and battery life wasn't an issue. With its narrow design, the rear light adapts well to the seat post. I like to adjust the brightness/pattern when transitioning between bike lanes (dim steady light) and streets (bright flashing light), and the button is placed to make this easy. After using this combo kit for a year I can say I will happily buy another Cygolite lighting set if I ever need a new one. Summer and winter, rain and sun, early morning or late afternoon, these lights still work just like the first day I received them. I haven't had any major issues with the Cygoligyt Dash Pro 600 and Hotrod 50 since I bought them. Still great battery life for what they're designed for (can last at least 4 hours on some bike rides I do depending on settings), nothing gets lost
