High Potency Toothpaste With Xylitol Stevia, Non-Fluorinated, Sweetened

I read about the negative effects of fluoridation and decided to try a new xylitol toothpaste. I also needed to find a product that could help with my tooth sensitivity and it looked like this toothpaste would fill the bill. The taste of the product is really pleasant. I don't feel any aftertaste, it's not too sweet and not too bland. The paste does not burn in any way. As for the "sensitive" nature of this toothpaste, the formula contains 5% potassium nitrate, which is the maximum allowable amount in toothpaste. When I compared the label of my wife's Sensodyne toothpaste to this one, they both contained the same amount of potassium nitrate, which made me feel better about switching to the Kiss my Face brand. After using this product for a few months I would not. I can't say it helped whiten my teeth, despite the suggestive marketing of some of the brand's flavors. I just don't see any difference. And what I can tell is that some of my teeth are bonded with a composite that is a bit lighter than my natural teeth and I still don't see any difference between a natural tooth and a composite material that is only 1-2 shades. lighter. Another consideration when using this product is that you are likely to use it more often and faster. Many fluoridated toothpastes recommend using a pea-sized amount to avoid fluoride poisoning if swallowed. But Kiss my Face's product instructions call for "at least an inch wide stripe" of paste on your brush. For me, that means I can go through each tube faster.
