There's no way to play back what you're recording. Overall, the best part is that it lights up beautifully and you can hear Queen Poppy say a few phrases. IF YOUR KIDS MUST LOVE IT, THEY MUST LIFT IT AND PLACE THE BOTTOM TO THEIR EAR TO HEAR THE MUSIC OR THE MAK QUEEN SPEAK. Not loud enough to be a good children's toy and actually encourage play or music production.
