Review on Feit Electric BPBAB 120 Halogen Bi Pin by Jose Fongdara

These lamps are designed for installation in ceiling spotlights. Therefore, they MUST have locking grooves molded or cut into the sides of the lamp base. You can see them in the posted photo. BUT. They do NOT have those grooves, just smooth glass! Imagine my surprise when a lightbulb from a cartridge fell on my head! Not to mention the bulb is hot enough to start a fire if left on for a while! Upon inspection, after waiting for the lamp to cool, I noticed the lack of mounting grooves on both lamps I ordered. I also noticed the extremely sloppy way of making the base of the lamp(s). The ceramic was off-center, the pins weren't aligned, and the overall look was sloppy. The poor workmanship is (partially) understandable given the origin, but the lack of retaining grooves makes these lamps dangerous to health and a fire hazard! DO NOT BUY THESE!
