I got this mount because my previous suction cup mount kept falling off my dash and I thought I might try mounting it on the air vent. This one holds my larger phone fairly well than the previous one - my phone hasn't even fallen out of the holder yet. I love that you can just press the button on the back to open the handle and that you can charge it while using it. I love being able to tilt the main body of the mount so I can see the phone's screen as air vents. The materials appear to be of good quality. Unfortunately, almost every time I put my phone in, the mount flies off my vent, probably due to the weight of my phone (0.5 pounds with case), despite having a fairly firm grip on it. Maybe it would be better if you had a lighter phone and/or a fold out vent.
