Review on 🐾 The Kitty Pass: A Convenient Hidden Litter Box Pet Door for Cats up to 21 lbs by Rhonda Welch

If you love to cut oversized holes in your door and decorate it with a cute cat walkway that will break apart when your pet walks through, then this door is perfect for you! The template we received was MUCH wider than the cat door itself. We followed the instructions to carefully cut and then trace. Next we used an exact knife along the marked lines. Then the cutting was completed with the help of an electric jigsaw. Immediately after applying the product to the freshly cut door, we were able to leave approximately 1/2 inch of space between the perimeter of the cut and the edge of the Kitty Pass. 3M adhesives are pre-applied on both sides and there is virtually no door surface to stick to! After playing around with the glue for about 10 minutes I decided to apply more 3M glue around the perimeter on both sides and then reinstalled the door. Everything was looking good until my Sphynx entered the cat door. The moment he touched the page, everything broke! This is an 8 month old HAIRLESS CAT. There was nothing to catch and tear the pages. I can't imagine how this crappy technique would work for a furry animal. I liked this product for the clean look and lack of logo. I would prefer a safe, stable product, logo and all. As a last resort, I coated both sides with wood glue and glued them to the door overnight. See pictures for reference.
