This is my first range finder in my life. So when I compare this version to others like some of the other reviewers have done, I don't have that experience. The device is lightweight and easy to use. The setting decides between yards or meters. It has a slope that I used for bow hunting. The display has no way to make it brighter. I've used this on sunny and cloudy days and the display is clearly legible. When using this for bowhunting, in my experience when setting the distance the reading would go back to something I hadn't measured. I had branches and branches, so the laser probably bounced in the wrong place. I was sure that I could shoot at such distances. Clarity is excellent. I've only used this for bow hunting and the tilt feature seems to work.
