Review on Black Tectonic Medium Backpack by Samsonite by Lequon Kirkpatrick

Great backpack but there are issues with comfort.

The build quality and materials of this backpack are first class. Spacious but not too big. Easily fits a 14-15" laptop with space for a charger in the computer bay. The middle compartment offers enough space for my Bose QC15 headphones, a tablet and a couple of laptops. Stands up great on its own. Both the front and middle compartments have inner zip pockets - both of which need to be deeper to be really useful. The main issues I found with this backpack are the shoulder straps. Although they are well padded, I find them too wide and too short. If you wear a backpack, the width of the straps will fit your arms as you walk. This may decrease as I use the backpack more and the pads soften. The padded part of the belt also needs to be a few inches longer as the belt buckles rest against my chest during use. I think if you backpack a lot, the fit of the strap will be a big issue.

Pros
  • Made of ballistic fabric with ripstop diamond inserts; Matte jersey lined laptop compartment fits most 15.6" laptops
Cons
  • Fits
