As already noted (not only for this model), the bundled software copes well with defects, and not only with scratches, but also with salt stains on 35mm films. For some reason, such spots did not form in principle on 60-mm films. It can be seen that the manufacturing technology is very different. Therefore, scans taken from 60 mm negatives and slides are pleasing in quality. Well, 35 mm is consumer goods and there is consumer goods. The processing time of each scan can take quite a long time (up to 15-20 minutes), if you turn on all the options - grain reduction, sharpening (it works, it really works!), elimination of defects. But why should we hurry, because ahead is eternity! :) After a few months: if you do not turn on the "Restore color" option (often it works very crookedly), but manually correct the tonal curves, then the frame processing time is reduced by about half even with Digital ICE turned on! In terms of performance, the device, of course, does not even come close to being semi-professional. Well, and what for such money to demand? In general, if you have a large archive of photographic films, enough time, patience, direct hands and experience with photo editors, this is a good choice.
