I like that this tool doesn't need to be charged forever as it comes with only a charging cable and no charging port. You want to buy a dual charging port and a second cable so you can charge the collar and remote at the same time. The sound correction is loud so it will definitely catch your dog's attention. The vibration is strong and in most cases it makes it clear what needs to be corrected in your dog; even when they are in a state of intense excitement. I have not had to apply static correction to any of my dogs. This would be a life and death solution (let's say they ran towards the street or something). I've tried every static level on myself and I can tell you that if you use it above level 5 it's likely to over correct. Very strong static, even for my thick-haired German Shepherds. I recommend this tool to many of my rampant clients and teach them how to use it. This is one of the easiest e-collars to train, but I don't recommend just putting it on your dog first without reading how to use it and maybe working with a knowledgeable trainer first.
