Review on 💡 GE Lighting 49894 Energy Smart CFL 14-Watt (40-Watt Equivalent) 750-Lumens Postlight Bulb with Medium Base, 1-Pack by Andrew Holman

3 stars because it works, but nowhere near what I expected. This is advertised as an 11w lamp with an equivalent power of 40w. The product page says 11 watts, as does the boxed shipping receipt and the Revain sticker on the bubble wrap protecting the bulb. The chatter itself, including manufacturer packaging, says 14 watts. 3 watts doesn't sound like much, but it's 27% more than the advertised 11 watts. I'm also disappointed that this is advertised as a street light, but it's SLOWLY working. It takes a whopping 2 minutes to reach full brightness. Once there, it's good and I'm happy. But when you first turn it on, the light is not enough. If that's okay with you, great. If not, and you want to be able to see something when you flip a switch, then not much. I've been doing this for a week, so no long-term evaluations yet.
