Review on πŸ”Œ Seagate Expansion 3TB Portable USB 3.0 External Hard Drive (STEA3000400) in Black by Chong Eun Moon ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

The best product, from those that I have viewed, I advise everyone!

For my purposes, a 2.5 was required "kit drive for the Thermaltake Core v1 chassis. Another 3.5 "The 4TB Seagate was $7999, and this one was $6650. Given that it's available in Novosibirsk for 13500 rubles (about $290) but lacks a packaging, I consider it a great choice. And, kudos to Seagate for being such fools to give away $5,000. Greetings, SATA-only drive purchasers who prefer not to use straps. An old Hitachi that constantly clicked in the box I bought seven years ago and turned off when copying, here it works quietly and quietly under load, and I think that makes this an excellent USB cover. The disk was 7mm in diameter, and it stood up perfectly and did not hang out of the box. Drive over SATA motherboard tests with CrystalDisk 5.2.2: The format is as follows: - Read Write seq q32t1 131 122 4k q31t1 1.258 7.634 seq 130.2 125.4 4k 0.458 4.026 We measured 85–95Mb/s when connecting through USB3, which is fast enough for what we needed. For ST4000LM024 in CrystalDiskInfo 7.1.1 it records: - Firmware 0001 There is a 5526RPM rotation rate and a Sata/600 standard ACS-3 revision 4 transfer mode. Features Implementing a SMART, APM, and NCQ

Pros
  • Although 15mm disk 2.5 in. prices are about par for the course, "4TB ST4000LM024 model, compatible with USB 3.0, powered by the USB port. There are no button presses. Temperature while recording was a chilly 38 degrees (in the box the temperature reached 50 - at copying an array of photos to 1Tb, so it was urgently removed). In comparison to the weight of 3.5 "colleague. Seeing as how the solution is packaged in a cardboard box and plastic, it appears to be shockproof and all of its components probably made it to the store without being damaged. There's a 2-year guarantee, but I'm not sure if it still applies after I tinkered with the disk.
