This compostable cling film came in two boxes. I like the idea that it's compostable, it helps the environment. When you open the box you will find a slide cutter and a cling film roll inside. The slider's body is made of blue plastic with a tiny metal blade inside. The cling film roll is slightly green in color, which is different from the traditional kind. There are no instructions on how to install the foil cutter on the box, but it's simple and straightforward. I got it right away. The cling film is thinner and feels softer than the conventional one. This item comes with a 9-month quality guarantee as standard. And after use, it is composted for 90 days. I've tried using it for a few things in my kitchen, ceramic bowls, glass bowls and fruit. I keep food in the fridge for a maximum of 3 days. In my use, this film holds its shape perfectly. However, I feel that this film does not stretch and adhere very well compared to the traditional type. It doesn't feel very flexible when stretched. And I have to press hard on the edge of the item to get a good print. Overall I would say this is just a regular product. I suspect there's probably a trade-off between sustainability and functionality.
