After two seasons of skating on Nordman 7, I decided to switch to these tires for my swallow. Upon leaving the tire shop, the first thing I want to remember to check is if they actually changed my shoes. The tires are surprisingly quiet (not as silent as a summer highway, but quieter than the same Nordman on a Conti ice contact 3). I drove on this all day (about the same highway / city) and didn't see any issues with braking at acceptable speeds, despite the fact that some people in the comments complained about troubles with braking on wet pavement. Buying is the best option, period.
