Better safe than sorry
While I am not 100% sure I 'needed' this, it sure does add a lot of professionalism to my project. It crimps serrations? into the ferrule, which I hope can be seen in my picture. I will be using this for a project were high current may cause some issues. If it helps prevent a fire, bonus! The crimping tool feels very solid and not cheap in any way. This kit comes with far more ferrules than I needed, but I am sure now that I have them, I can find uses for it :)
