Mucky Nutz Bender Fender

Unlike other reviewers, I was planning to purchase a Mucky Nutz Bender Fender, not a steering wheel, although I saw an image of a steering wheel related to this product. To clarify, if you order this item, you will receive the "Mucky Nutz" brand, a plain black "Bender Fender". It comes with instructions on a sticker and attaches with Velcro for installation. However, it's an extremely simple design and works well for what it's supposed to do. I installed it on my Trek Remedy 27.5 and it did a good job protecting my forks and the top of the down tube from mud and rocks. It does not protect the underside of the down tube and is not designed to do so. It's designed to protect the fork stems and prevent dirt from getting on the face, which is what happens. It doesn't get in the way, doesn't make a noise over bumps, and sticks and leaves don't get caught in it. The Bender Wing was fairly easy to install and comes with just enough velcro to get the job done. If you follow the instructions attached to the fender, you will get the soft side of the velcro against your bike's paintwork! Well! Tighten the velcro enough and it takes the shape of the fork well and provides good clearance between the tires. If you have realistic expectations from this product and consider its purpose, then you will be very satisfied with this product.
