This is a glaze, not a cutting compound, and really hides paintwork and bodywork imperfections. And WOW, it brings out the depth of dark colors. It really boosts the color, it's like wet sanding and applying 10 coats of clear coat. I highly recommend using the entire 3M Perfect-it system to get the most out of this product. It works well on its own, as does a hand stain, but works best when you start with an already very finely prepared surface using 3M Ultra Fine Machine Polish or 3M Machine Polish. 3M Compounds are much easier to process and clean. You also work much faster with less effort to get results. It's a waste of money and time to use anything else unless you want a sub-par or good result. This will make it look better than factory, not just slightly better, this is show car level of the competition. A racquet for sure. I used to be a user of Mothers and Meguire.
