So the old fan speed was going up and down all the time. I thought it was a RESISTOR but on this model the resistor is built into the fan so I had to replace it entirely. But for that price I'm sure I'll replace everything. I've heard mechanics say that when a resistor fails, SOMETHING causes it to fail. Well I disassembled the old fan, the resistance seems fine but the FAN MOTOR. The brushes are completely worn out, and their fragments scattered around the engine and began to close. So yeah, save yourself the trouble and just replace the whole damn thing. Hope the new one lasts a long time. Took me about 20 minutes.
