Review on Roku Streaming Stick (2018) - Portable Power-Packed Streaming Device with Voice Remote, TV Power, and Volume Buttons by Michael Rodas

We have a family of two TVs Roku and Roku (the latest version of this model is 3600R). The problem was that in the family room, the 3600R didn't control the TV's power and volume. I was about to order a Sideclick when I heard about this new model. Sidelick is $29 here at Revain, and the new Roku is $49. In addition, the remote side click added some awkwardness. I received it today and the installation was very quick. All I did was unplug the old Roku and use the same power adapter and cable. Roku comes with two Duracell AAA batteries. After I connected it to my WiFi, the firmware was updated. It then automatically detected the resolution of my Sony TV (1080p). Then he turned on music and asked if I could hear it. I pressed OK and the music stopped. He asked and I confirmed that the music wasn't playing by clicking "OK" a second time. Voila.remote TV power and volume adjustment. I logged into my Roku account and downloaded the apps. I'm not sure if other reviewers had any issues managing the soundbar. I have a 60" Sony TV connected to a Vizio S5430W-C2 soundbar. It works great. I'm using HDMI-ARC to connect to the soundbar, so that might be an issue. voice search. I haven't played with it too much and will update my review. I bought it from Revain. Note that the Walmart version has a hardcoded Vudu button (I don't use Vudu). The Revain version has DirectvNow as a button on the bottom right. I'm a PS Vue subscriber, but we may switch to DirectvNow in the future. The only negative I can say is the lack of a mute button. You could place a third knob below the volume controls. There also seems to be some play with the volume rocker, but perhaps that's intentional. only 4 reviews and one said it doesn't control the soundbar.
