Storing your clipper in this holder is much better for cord than hanging it on hooks, creating a kink that will eventually break or fray the cord. everything is right in front of you, creating a well-organized station. I got into the habit of putting it straight into the stand and I had one instance where I pulled on a tendon and the clipper fell off. Some oversize clippers/trimmers will not fit. Here's the biggest downside for me; You MUST screw this into your station or it just won't hold up. Unless your station's tabletop is at a 90-degree angle, stay away. You can risk velcro or double sided tape but I wouldn't do it. It also eliminates the possibility of tucking behind the holder because it's so large with scissors in it. If you can screw it, it's a good buy. If you don't want that, a cart is a good alternative.
