***UPDATE*** I got to the bottom of the bag and they are stained. I wouldn't buy them again. I bought these when I couldn't order the previous woodcuts I was using. The slices became dirty as part of the rind fell off and bounced in the bag they were in. Also, I prefer to drill my own holes because the pre-drilled holes in the batch I received were awkwardly placed without thinking about how the woodcut might look best hanging as they are not 100% symmetrical. They'll probably work for a kid's craft, but not the more expensive look I used them for.
