I wanted a new bag for my MacBook Pro (15" Retina w/Touch Bar) that wasn't bulky, but had capability of including essential accessories. After measuring my computer, and checking the interior sizes of lots of cases, I decided on this one (the 14" version is a perfect fit for the 15" MacBook Pro). It just arrived, and I am happy with it. It's not luxurious for the price obviously, but it is respectable enough, and elegantly functional.I was concerned about the opening being on the bottom of the case, that it could slip out.you can side-load your computer if you like, and the zipper pulls can be located to the top of the bag. Because it's so slim, having the zipper work as it does is necessary to get the handle on here, which was important to me. I can live with this; and after getting the bag, I am OK with the zipper opening as it does. The interior is a soft padded material, and should provide adequate protection for gentle use.The outside accessory pocket has very nice elastic straps that have non-slip grip material included in the elastic, which is a nice touch. Things stay put where you place them. There is plenty of room for the power cord and plug, a Magic Mouse, and a dongle or two; it also has other slots in the fabric for things like business cards, pens, etc.
