Review on Konjac Sponge Pack Cleansing Exfoliating by Tasha Powell

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Not everything is heart shaped! <- Problem solved. love it in pieces!

I love konjac sponges for the gentle physical exfoliation they provide (prevents flaking and keeps skin smooth when using chemical peels that cause dead skin to form) and I'm this particular one always stayed true for a while, back then because i really like that they are in the shape of a heart. But the last two times I've ordered them, I've been sent another product from them that only has one heart-shaped sponge and the other two are oval. Don't get me wrong they still work great but when I order something I expect to receive the product as described. I hope this gets fixed because I really love them. (3 star rating previously given) UPDATE: Apparently it was a bearing mix up that caused this issue. It has been solved and I am getting my favorite hearts! Tip: only use white konjac sponges so you can see if mold is growing inside. It's harder to see in color. How I care and use them: Soak for 15 minutes the first time you use them. After that, soak until completely wet each time (no more than 3 minutes). Move in circles with minimal pressure. No need to rub as the cognac will do all the work. HANG TO DRY COMPLETELY before using again. If you don't let it dry completely, buy two and alternate between them, or store them in the fridge when not in use (while still damp). Throw away after a month using the refrigeration method. You can keep them for up to 3 months, but I still change them monthly just in case. You can also try disinfecting them in the microwave. Place it in a bowl of water (the sponge should be damp) and microwave for no more than a minute. Do this at least once a week. Anything more and you will damage the sponge.
