I've only ridden it about 100 miles so far but I'm very impressed with the handling, grip, puncture protection and wet performance. In case anyone doesn't know, these are Grand Prix tires specifically designed to offer the best grip in wet and cold weather while maintaining puncture protection on the Gatorskin line. In that respect, they have fully succeeded. I will compare them to the Gatorskin tires as they are the tires I have used the most and offer the best puncture protection of any road tire on the market. Grip on wet concrete and asphalt is excellent. The tread and sidewalls are slightly softer and more flexible than typical "hard" tires and offer noticeably better rolling resistance and a softer ride than Gatorskins. An added bonus is that they are very easy to mount on narrow rims. These aren't gravel tires, but they're good enough that you don't feel like you're dying when you have to drive (slowly) on dirt roads. Most slicks can't say that! Best of all, their puncture protection is at least better than my Schwalbe G-One Speed gravel tires as the same dirt road that caused me a puncture 3 times this year didn't even affect the Grand Prix - at 4 seasons. Racing tire but if you need to race in wet conditions or just need a strong and reliable tire for commuting this is the perfect choice.
