Bought this to make cold coffee for me and my fiance. Loved the easy to clean filter. However. It is not possible to match the right amount of coffee grounds to the amount of water you intend to use and even completely submerge the coffee grounds in the carafe for a full soak. It's also not possible to brew half/reduced portions with the correct ratio of ground coffee to water, as the filter doesn't penetrate deep enough into the pot with the water level that low. So this is a great product, let's say for. Ice tea or sun tea as we will be using it in the future (we missed our return window). It might even be good for iced coffee. if you prefer a light drink first. Iced coffee concentrate will not be produced and it will be difficult to make a thoroughly brewed iced coffee. But yes, the decanter is easy to use and the filters are incredibly easy to clean.
