This audio is just great. The speaker feels hard, but the outer layer of rubber is smooth and soft. The speaker has a port covered by a very tight rubber cover, and underneath is an AUX-in and charger. I think the lid is waterproof. The buttons on the side of the speaker are easy to read and have a nice feel. They also "click" when you press them, which helps you understand what you're actually pressing instead of clicking in the wrong place like most flat function keys these days. The sound is strong and clear, and it gets even better with Bass Boost turned on. Music sounds good even at maximum volume, does not become distorted and does not "fade out”, does not "fade away” when the bass is heavily pumped. A very cool speaker for less than half the price of the most popular portable waterproof devices.
