Very solid kettle. Feels and looks like it's made with quality materials. I found it easy to set up and use. The touch buttons on the base plate respond to light touches, so you don't have to press the buttons hard to get the machine working. The preset temperatures are just enough for my tea, coffee, and oatmeal needs. The filter looks like metal and the inner lid also looks like metal. The opening lid is wide enough to hand-clean the inside of the kettle with a soft cloth or sponge, without the need for special tools or brushes to get inside. The "Save" function seems to keep the water temperature I selected active for about 25-30 minutes.
