I have 2 older 19" monitors that I wanted to add to my desktop I7. The desktop computer has Intel integrated graphics with dual display ports connected to two 24" displays. My research showed that Intel Graphics only support up to 3 monitors when using an MST device with a display port Then I found the Wavlink device I made connections with HDMI cables (which use HDMI to DVI adapters) Windows has those Picked up hardware and installed the necessary drivers After a few seconds the 3rd display became active I had problems with the 4th monitor (the input signal was out of range) and there was no picture i.e. After examining the Wavlink adapter's resolution and refresh rate, I found that they matched my monitor's specs. After I disconnected and reconnected the HDMI connection, the 4th display became active. No additional drivers or software required.
