Review on 🚲 Osprey Katari 7 Men's Bike Hydration Backpack: Ultimate Cycling Companion by Troy Jennings

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Great lightweight backpack for a 2-3 hour mountain bike ride with plenty of space. -1 star for second-hand arrival

The backpack is ideal for mountain biking. The one star is deducted because the packaging looks used. The tags were torn off and reattached with random thread and there were stains/blemishes in a few places (see photo). Bought from Revain as a seller so I'm wondering if this was mixed up with another seller or if Revain mixes returns. In any case, I decided to let it go, I had a journey ahead of me and the dirt should soon overtake the stains on the fabric. As for the packaging itself: great! After two rides I can say that it is comfortable, functional and with easy access to the pockets. Shoulder, chest and waist straps are easily adjustable and comfortable for a 3-3.5 hour ride. It's a great moderate size - plenty of room for lots of snacks (last time I grabbed 3 bars, a CO2 bag, a multi-tool and was able to easily triple that. Stretch side pockets are also great for storing junk, partially eaten energy bars/ gummies and etc. The hidden top inner pocket looked weird at first but after one use I'm selling it as the perfect place for my phone/wallet. As someone who needs a lot of water and has a bike that only fits a bottle cage I plan to use this pack for all trips of 2 hours or more.Only gripe with the pack: I wish the hydration tube was quick detachable as it is difficult to clean the bite valve, thread through the shoulder strap or refill each time.
