At around $80 this faucet is a good buy. We decided to upgrade our sink and didn't want to spend $300 on a decent faucet like we did for our kitchen. Only time will tell if the quality of this faucet will hold up, but initially it appears to be at least on par with more expensive brands in terms of fit and finish. So what you won't get at this price: 1. The factory connections have been loosened. After reading several complaints about this faucet leaking when plugged in, I made sure to check the factory plumbing. By my standards, they were free. So I made sure to tighten them before installing. It's easy to do, it took 2 minutes. Don't overdo it, just pull them a little tighter. Subsequent tightening is not possible without removing the entire tap.2. The cold/hot water line configuration of the faucet has a handle oriented to deliver hot water when pulled forward and cold water when pulled back (handle to the right of the faucet, facing the faucet). This is reversed with standard conventions. So I swapped cold/hot connections to fix the problem. Your call for preference, but I love consistency in my home.3. On the more expensive faucets we have a magnetic catch to secure the popping end. This model doesn't have it, but it seems to fit well if you adjust the weight subtly. No feature worth the extra money if you ask me.4. The mounting nut also appears to be slightly less strong. This is a metal nut with a plastic cover to make tightening easier. It worked well but seems cheap in comparison. If necessary, I can update it in a hardware store in the future. The instructions were spot on. I made several of these setups so they worked fine for me but weren't great if you want a detailed step-by-step description. Otherwise the spray buttons seem to work (again in the long run? The water shuts off almost immediately. The metal finish looks the same as a more expensive brand. Some parts were also included. Okay, but I hope that's not a sign what you are If you are serious about saving money and don't mind betting a little on long term quality I would heartily recommend it If I had to remodel I would have no hesitation in putting this faucet in our kitchen Doesn't look cheap at all Also perfect for home renovations TIP If you have the opportunity, install the faucet BEFORE installing the sink MUCH EASIER than playing cabinet spin for an hour Good luck and God bless Hope this helps a few people
