I leave it for some specific purposes (with paper, not for quilting). I wasn't impressed with the accuracy of the measurement when the "line" was set. This was almost 1/8 inch from my reference draftsman's steel ruler, which I use to judge all of my quilting tools. I regularly switch rulers throughout a project depending on what I'm measuring/cutting, so I only allow less than 1/16 inch difference between my tools. It was beyond my tolerance. But I found it handy for cutting stacks of paper for a few small projects, so it's in my trash.
