I had to keep tightening the hydraulic screw to make it work. When I thought it was tight I started lifting it and putting pressure on it and found it couldn't be lifted any more. This was due to the weight and the hydraulic screw had to be tightened. So I tightened it and repeated the process. After putting about 1 ton of pressure on it the same thing happened and I found I could tighten it a bit more. So it was just frustrating because I was tightening the screw a lot. Then, to easily loosen it, I had to practically unscrew the screw. It just wasn't practical and a lot less convenient compared to the scissor jack. The most disappointing thing is that it's not that big. While the description states the correct height, it was surprising to see how many cars could barely read the full-height lifting points. I couldn't use it on a truck at all. I'm sure there are several small Toyota trucks that it will work on. But then why buy a jack that can lift up to 4 tons of weight?
