Review on 🔪 Cuisinart DLC-046TXAMZ 6mm Slicing Disc, 14-Cup Processor Compatible by Luis Green

The disk appears to have been unbalanced. I've used my food processor dozens of times to chop veggies for braising and we bought it to get slices a little thicker than a 4mm slice. Halfway to the first potato, I notice that the potato is stuck in the blade. Stop the car, remove the potatoes, whatever. The next potato, the blade, seems to rise with each turn and ends up getting stuck in the plastic lid. Broke the blade, broke the rod holding the blade, and broke the lid. At least the engine seems fine. However, this blade costs me a new barrel and cap. Advice to anyone who buys one of these: check your balance before attempting to use it. If you see any signs of hesitation, return it immediately.
