Great design but the spout won't pop out

This is my second time buying Method hand soap and I love all Method products because they work and look good. But the first bottle I took out of the box won't open no matter how much I turn the spout counterclockwise. He might get stuck. Then I took out the second bottle and it worked fine.

Pros

Bottle (no pump) made from 100% recycled plastic (PCR).
