I bought this case with my Fire HD 10 about a month ago, both products arrived at the same time and the tablet was in the case from day 1 . always. Today my 2 year old dropped a tablet off the living room table (less than 25 inches off the floor) and my Fire HD 10 screen shattered (as shown in the picture). This case did not protect the tablet properly. I have an Apple iPad Air with a similar screen protector but softer foam and it has been dropped a few times without damaging the iPad, something is wrong with it.
