I need coffee in the morning but there are little kids who like to tip things over. I don't like travel mugs to take home as they are not sturdy enough. It has a rubber grip on the bottom to keep it in place and a switch on the top to keep it closed to keep warm. The lid screws on which is good to keep it from hanging around (I had this issue with another mug with a rubber seal). The plastic on the inner lid, which forms a closing switch to retain heat, easily unscrews for cleaning and simply unscrews back on. It also fits easily under the Keurig and holds large volumes. My favorite place? THIS IS DISHWASHER SAFE! My last desktop mug was missing and it was a hassle to wash it separately, so I found this mug, saw the dishwasher magic word and decided to order this great value 2 pack. I'm glad I did. This is a great table mug at a great price! Will your coffee stay hot all day? no However, you can put it in the microwave as it is also safe to use in the microwave. Bottom line, if you're looking for a durable tabletop mug that's easy to maintain, at a great price, then this is your mug. If you want your coffee to be hot, shiny, trendy 5 hours after brewing, and have expensive brand names to make a mark on other moms at the bus stop, this mug probably isn't for you. It made my life a little easier and it gets 5 stars from me!
