The router was well packaged, including an Ethernet cable and power adapter. Connects to your cable modem (or other internet access device) like a regular WiFi router, but you don't have to go to the IP address to set up the router - just go to the website that gives you the instructions (even from a other internet connection) and enter the code on the bottom of the router and you can set the Wi-Fi name and password. You can then choose which streaming services are where. I was pleasantly surprised that while the configuration page lists about 10 streaming services that you can choose which country to go through (8 countries are available for Netflix!), there are many more services that already default to the US route . that only support USA, like VRV or Pandora. I had no issues with the router's speed or range when connecting to WiFi, which is very comparable to a good high-powered 4-antenna router. It supports both 2.4 and 5 GHz WiFi and seems to automatically switch between the two, at least on my Mac. Good speed even remotely and streaming works great with my Roku, Mac and Android phone (when connected to Wi-Fi).
