Review on Pirelli Ice Zero 205/60 R16 96T winter by Micha Bialik (Eagle) ᠌

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Good product, good quality, not bad.

I made the decision to assess this tire. I visited Hackappelite 7, Michelin Hin2, and Toyo before that. I purchased this rubber based on the price in the first place and the test results in the second. What else can I say? I believe that all complaints regarding rubber's increased noise are overstated. Quite cozy in terms of sound. Of course, a lot relies on how well the car is soundproofed. Having a great time on the ice. On asphalt as well. It's all right and predictable. But the surprise came from an unexpected place. I had to travel on the highway in the snow. The car started to travel quite erratically at a speed of more than 100 km/h on a snowy porridge that was also not very deep. I didn't even initially recognize my emotions. It appears to be moved slightly from side to side. However, the sensation is quite unpleasant because there is no self-assurance in the car or on the road. Toyo tires were used previously. Nothing even came close to that. The vehicle moved as though on rails. Toyota's flaw was that spikes shot out. But riding on it was quite comfortable and secure. It's awful that I now have such a significant negative. And because this is for safety, I just put 4. The tires are not bad overall, but I now wish I had taken the Toyota. Additionally, it was less expensive.

Pros
  • 1) Spikes are, indeed, quite excellent grade when planted. 2) Great braking on ice and asphalt. 3) High-grade rubber
Cons
  • 1) Inadequate stability in slush at speeds starting at 100 km/h
