I literally opened the box and immediately tried to fit my 30 year old Stanley thermos into the lid. Yes, the wire won't hold and keeps popping out, literally throwing the thermos into the lunch bucket compartment. After playing with it for a few minutes, I noticed that the lid's hinges were already starting to flex, as were the metal tabs that held the cup/bottle wire holder to the top of the lid. Also the metal tab inside the top that puts too much pressure on the thermos already has a rivet. All of this in about 10 minutes out of the box just to put my thermos on top without launching into the depths of the lunch box at Mach 10. Return for a full refund. The words MADE IN CHINA on the label breaks my heart and I know if I come back for another one it will be of the same quality. Positive note: my 30 year old thermos still works like new!
