I wanted comfortable warm neoprene socks for water trips. These socks work great! Thick enough to keep my feet warm in cold water all day, but thin enough to fit in my regular hiking shoes (Altra Trailrunner). Size M fits my 9 1/2 US male feet well but not too tight. I've only used them about 8 miles on a hike so can't comment on how durable they are, but they seem solid enough. The soles are not intended to be used without an outer shoe: do not use them exclusively for water sports such as SUP or kayaking. Ideal for hiking like the gorges in Zion, Paria Canyon or other water rides.
