I originally bought this coffee pot for my mother for last Mother's Day (about two months ago) and she loved it. It worked great for a while, she said it seemed to use a lot of water (more than mine which has a larger touchscreen) but other than that she had no complaints and was very happy with it. However, her computer had recently failed, resulting in a blank screen where she couldn't select anything. She's tried everything from clicking the screen to trying to reset it (and hopefully she's clicking correctly), unplugging it overnight, unplugging it and plugging it back in 5 minutes later. Turning it off overnight seemed to help, first allowing her to select 10 ounces of coffee, then opening and closing the lid again to select another 4 ounces and the screen went blank again and has stayed that way ever since. I expected more from such an expensive coffee pot. We are both very dissatisfied.
