Random crashes - very annoying

Overall a KVM switch is very handy as I can use two PCs with the same monitor that only has a display port input and switch between active mouse and keyboard . simultaneously. However, this KVM switch switches from input 2 to input 1 on its own several times a day, which interrupts my work and causes all my windows to resize and switch to a different monitor. Nothing touching or near the switch when it does. What's even more annoying is that Outlook doesn't handle this resolution switch at all and completely destroys the inbox view, requiring a lot of manual effort to revert to the original view. You can avoid the resolution switching problems that others have complained about by locking the PC. before switching (Win+L), but that doesn't help if he decides to switch inputs himself.

Pros
  • Delivery was very fast
Cons
  • Hard to tell
