Review on Logitech G G603 Lightspeed Wireless Gaming Mouse, Black by Micha Kumicki ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

The best purchase in my life, I will definitely buy it again.

During the first week of using it, I had trouble keeping a firm grip on the mouse since its surface was too smooth. Lifting it with one hand was completely impossible. But after it was polished, I felt more confidence when I gripped it. In spite of the fact that I use the computer for extended periods of time and frequently, I only had to replace the batteries once over the course of three years. A phantom click started happening on the wheel after it had been used for two years. If you pressed on the wheel, the press was registered, and if you clicked, it was possible for it to register 2, 3, 4, or even 5 presses at the same time. A straightforward illustration: when I click on the link while scrolling, three tabs that are identical to each other immediately appear. If you press down on the wheel before it clicks, new tabs will appear in rapid succession without pausing. Because of this, I grew anxious to the point that even at work I would click on the link using a different mouse and then quickly check to see how many tabs had been opened. If the mouse were less expensive, the requirement that you replace it every two to three years would not be quite so humiliating. The mouse is still operational, but there is no longer any consideration given to the user's comfort when using it. First thing's first: I took apart the mouse. There were no major issues to be concerned about. Standard buttons are an OMRON D2FC-F-7N button for the basics and a Panasonic EVQP0E07K button for scrolling. In theory, you should be able to fix it on your own because the buttons are discrete and, although it may be challenging, they are in the correct order. However, due of the fragility of the textolite, Rosa requires solder. However, I do not believe that Logitech is to blame for the dysfunction of my mouse because the buttons are universal and are installed in mice made by a variety of manufacturers. My overall experience with the mouse was really positive, and as a result, I am increasing the rating from 3 to 5. It's funny how the need to cut costs may open your eyes to things you never even gave a second thought to before.

Pros
  • Ease of operation Good ergonomics battery usage that is not prohibitively expensive
Cons
  • The very first time after the purchase, how much of a difficulty was the body Wheel (see comment)?
