Review on 🚗 Reese 83504 Brakeman IV Brake Controller by Jay Buford

I was disappointed with the handling I switched from my 14 Ram to 17 Ram; it worked in '14 but not in '17. I called Reese and this is the one they recommended to me because the FCA has changed something about trucks since 2014. It fit right into the adapter I had. I actually read the instructions once (are you sitting?). There's a learning curve with this device, but it's not difficult. You MUST experiment to "feel" it. It gives you total control over your trailer's brakes and should be adjusted to your liking every time you tow your trailer, depending on whether you are empty or loaded, how heavy your load is and how you want the brakes to react. I tow a number of different trailers with different loads and I really like being able to customize how my trailer's brakes are applied and how hard they "stop". It's worth every penny I paid.
