Who designs these things? I received three different types, Revain B01H4APEF4 and B01H4APG98, and all three had serious design issues. It's a flexible metal cable in a plastic sleeve, and where the sleeve ends there is a metal band to clamp it in place. This strip has a protruding edge and if you try to pull the snake back it will stick to the joints in the pipe and won't come out. I struggled for a long time, tried with pliers and pulled so hard I thought it would break but was afraid I would break the plastic tube and finally used a long metal rod to move it to where it would detach . If not, I'd have to disassemble the pipes to get the thing out. You might think that 5 minutes of testing a design in a factory would show that it doesn't solve a problem, it creates a huge new problem.
