Review on Razer Blade 14 Gaming Laptop by Eddie Man

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Reliable Laptop - Computers and Tablets

Pros: 1) Keyboard: Razer laptops are still the keyboards I type fastest on, also RGB per key 2) 100W stable, Razer promised 100 and it delivers, the in-game GPU draws a constant 100 watts throughout gameplay. In comparison, the G14 promised 80W, and even if you carefully manage your CPU power, the G14 typically only delivers around 70W. 3) Even at 100W, the GPU temperature never rises above 65 C. 4) Battery life guaranteed: with updated graphics drivers. The keyboard backlight is off, the screen is on minimum brightness and the power saving mode is on, I can get 16 hours of YouTube video streaming. If you cut some corners and manage your power usage well, this could be an all-day battery. 5) The overall gaming experience is really very good with a very high minimum of 1% 6) The screen + touchpad has low latency, which makes scrolling incredibly smooth 7) The processor has 8 cores and can reach almost 4.6 GHz. The "boost" in the Razer synapse allows it to run at nearly 80W8) build quality: amazing. This laptop feels so solid in your hands and has no flex 9) Breathe less than 4 pounds: 1) It does not come with the GaN charger that Razer sends to influencers with this product. 2) The CPU is also not cooled. I've seen it go up to 100C and often oscillate around 90C in games. 3) RAM has terribly low bandwidth. It seems to work well in games, so maybe it's not an issue, but my RAM tests were pretty disappointing (especially since it's irreplaceable). Overall: A gaming laptop designed for work, hobbies and play with a seamless transition from your desktop. on the run. On the other hand, the cons listed above are relatively minor issues given the pros that cover important things, so I'm giving this one a 5/5.
